How it all started… 

The Order of the Iron Scepter

Started by Thomas Filmor in the early eleven hundreds, the Order of the Iron Scepter was founded for the purpose of protecting the common folk from malevolent non-humans that sought to cause them harm.  At that time the field troops and leader tended to be men, and the advisors and mystics that guided these warriors were all women.  They then followed a call from God, but as protectors of humanity. 

The order often worked in harmony with the shifters and magi in the area, only drawing their weapons against those that broke the laws of their own kind.  Through these alliances the order leaned many of the secrets of the non-human races, and their weaknesses, information that would later be used against these former allies.

The direction of the order itself began to change when a traveling missionary and his sister swept into town.  They feed the leaders of the order stories about atrocities committed by the thought to be peaceful non humans and how they had turned of their allies, leaving them drowning in their own blood. 

At first the leaders scoffed at these tales, calling them unfounded nonsense, but for some reason, after hours of talking, the minds of the leader drastically changed.  There have been many rumors about that meeting, and the strange woman who stood quietly behind her brother while he raves and quoted scriptures at the gathered men.  People say she was a dark magician and bewitched the minds of the council of knights. 

Whatever happened that night, the next morning the order had changed its name to the Imperium, and their goal became to wipe out all the unclean humans and non human races from the world so that the true rulers, the humans, might live as God intended.   In the background, behind the zealous men, it is said the Holy Mother of the Imperium leads in the darkness.  No longer did the mystics guide their hand, those were either cast out or killed. 

Generation after generation the granddaughter of the Holy Mother was trained to take her place when she stepped down.  The granddaughter was always said to be training far away and no one ever say her until the change was made.  Never did the Holy Mother’s follower know that each time it was the Holy Mother herself that took her own place, simply magically disguised to look different than she had before.   Never did the Imperium knew their beloved leader was no more human than the people her warriors killed, and in fact was simply after the power and artifacts these creature possessed so she couple use them to make herself stronger. 

The Order of Imperium

The "12 Commandments of God’s Declaration” constitute the stated doctrine of the organization:

1. Your first loyalty belongs to God and the Human Race. The survival, expansion and advancement of the Human Race are our sacred obligation. What is good for the Human Race is the highest virtue; what is bad for the Human Race is the ultimate sin.
3. Be fruitful and multiply. It is our sacred goal to populate the lands of this earth with Full Humans exclusively. You shall keep your race pure. Pollution of the Human Race is a heinous crime against God and against your own kind.  This a capitol crime and will be punished harshly.
5. You must take particular care that the misfits are culled and that each generation advances to higher and more salubrious levels, physically, aesthetically, and mentally.
7. Remember that the inferior half-breed races are our deadly enemies, and that the most dangerous of all are the perverse Beast Women. It is our immediate objective to relentlessly expand the Human Race, and to shrink the ranks of our enemies with whatever means necessary.
9. Show preferential treatment in any and all business dealings with members of your own race. Phase out all dealings with half-breeds as soon as possible. Do not employ beastlings or other non-humans. Have social contacts only with Humans.  Do nothing to help the beastlings or non-human races prosper, multiply, and crowd us off the limited space of this planet.
11. Destroy and banish all non-human thought and influence from society. Work diligently to bring about a pure Human only world as soon as possible. As decried by God, it is the duty and responsibility of each generation to assure for all time the existence of the Human Race as the dominant force upon the face of this planet.
13. Make a vow to God that during your lifetime you will make at least one major lasting contribution to the Human Race. It is our duty and our privilege to further God’s plan by striving towards the advancement and improvement of our own future generations.
15. We must train our soldier well to recognize the enemy in whatever guise they hide under.  Be it man or woman, beast or child.   To advance and procure the survival of the Human Race we must eradicate the enemy in form as in effect on society wherever we can.
17. As a proud member of the Human Race, think and act with confidence, be courageous, forth right and aggressive. Utilize the gifts your God has blessed you with to cleanse our world of the enemy.
19. Throughout your life you shall faithfully uphold our pivotal creed of Blood, Purification and Honor. Practice it diligently, for it is the heart and soul of our faith. We, the Defenders of the Human Race, are determined to regain complete and unconditional control of this world for all true Humans.
21. God decrees that each species look after its own exclusively and guard against its enemies.  You must never look at issues from anyone else's point of view, not through the beast’s, not through non-human’s, not through half-breed nor the sympathizers, or any other enemies' point of view. You must measure everything from our point of view. You must consider every issue from the Pure Human Race’s point of view, and no one else's.
23. As we proceed followed the word of God, to wage war on the Non-Humans for the survival of the Human Race, let us never again look at the world through the beastling’s eyes. We have only one consideration: The Human Race’s point of view, The Human Race’s best interest, The Human Race’s welfare.  To do otherwise is betraying our own kind and an affront against the Laws of God himself.
