Far beyond the understanding of mortal minds rests the realm of the goddesses and gods that once guided and protected them. In the human's search for their own power, they have left behind the old ways and the lessons of their ancestors. Lost among these treasures of knowledge are the warnings of what lays imprisoned beyond the veil of darkness.
In their ignorance and greed the humans have awakened an evil as ancient as creation herself, a force of destruction and chaos that may doom them all. A great war is brewing. In their weakened state the goddesses and gods of the past must find those among mortal kind with the blood of the ancients in their veins and awaken that power, before the evil comes to claim them for their own.
Máahes and Heka have been sent to seek out one of these lost children, to see if she is strong enough to face the tri-challenge. Neither god is prepared for the power this one woman will have over their heart. The stakes are high, and the Void is playing for keeps. If she fails, one more of the sacred soldiers will be lost to the darkness, and these two god face loosing their greatest love.
